No 401k offered, expensive insurance/dental/vision. Rather than tell you a rule you don’t know they run to the supervisor, so that makes the first few weeks a bit weird. There are a lot of tattletales/little spies and it is more than you realize at first. A private apology for a public unnecessary scolding is not acceptable. The new supervisor is okay and works hard but has trouble managing her mood/anger at times. It wasn’t the worst job ever except some of the people are often gossiping and nasty towards some employees and I would say that can be the hardest part of the work culture/job. Free soda or coffee during work hours in the break area only. Lunch area has multiple microwaves and a water system that provides hot or cold water but the floor there is pretty dirty and the bathroom enclosures are dirty. With that in mind it probably was a good job pay wise initially. Salaries in the area have begun to increase but the salary here is at 15:00 for all non-exempt employees, unless you are hired via a temp agency and then you make less. I’ve never been around so many grown women who just likes to tell on others instead of actually trying to help. Just keep in mind everyone does things differently, so if you don’t do it their way they will go tell on you. The jobs are fairly easy so it’s not much training. Management is supposed to care and listen right? There’s definitely room for improvement there. I witnessed her snap at people sometimes, just because they were telling her about a issue. Everyone complains about it and have spoken to her about it but nothing changed. Instead of cross training everyone to do everything she sticks you on the same thing everyday. The supervisor thinks the assembly team are robots. They will play with their hair over food then dig in it. Eat at your own risk ! Some of the females aren’t clean. Often times someone would bring in food or treats for everyone to share. They don’t make the new employees feel welcomed. The assembly team is all females which is crazy. If you parked or sat in someone’s none assigned spot it would cause issues. There wasn’t any assigned parking or seats in the small break room, but everybody would have a specific spot they were use to. The biggest issues are some of the employees and the supervisor. This company alone or the work isn’t so bad.
